Background
Investigacion y Control de Calidad SA (INCOSA) has acquired 100% of Servicios de Ingenieria y Consultores SA (SUMMA).

In October 2009, Norgestion was asked to assist the owners of Summa, a company dedicated to engineering services in the building industry in the process of merging Summa with a larger company, to facilitate the development of Summa.

What Difference Did We Make?
After an initial assessment of the market and some preliminary conversations with several potential buyers, we assisted our clients in the negotiations with Incosa, a leading multidisciplinary engineering company in Spain. We designed the structure of an earn-out deal, in which Incosa gains a significant presence in Barcelona and through which Summa will reinforce its strategic development both in the Spanish market as well as internationally.
