Guglia joins from PwC where he spent five years in their Midlands corporate finance team. Following a degree in history and philosophy from University College London, James joined BSkyB’s graduate trainee programme before moving to work in the family business in Birmingham. At Catalyst he will use his experience of working in both industry and the advisory profession to support the local partner group. Macvie, a Birmingham University graduate joins from Deloitte where after qualifying as a chartered accountant he was seconded to their advisory team. At Catalyst Alex has joined as an M&A research analyst, where he will support the team in completing deals and contributing to Catalyst’s sector led research reports.
