Catalyst Corporate Finance, the leading independent corporate finance advisor, has won the 2007 “unquote” magazine award for Corporate Financier of the Year.

Catalyst Corporate Finance, the leading independent corporate finance advisor, has won the 2007 “unquote” magazine award for Corporate Financier of the Year.

The award was presented to partner Mark Humphries, by leading journalist Jon Snow at the Private Equity Awards Dinner held at the Royal Horticultural Halls last night. This award is the fourth the firm has won in the last twelve months and caps a successful year for Catalyst where the firm completed its largest ever deal for Foster + Partners and cemented its place as one of the UK's leading mid-market corporate finance experts.

The award is a reflection of the work Catalyst has been involved with during the last 12 months and the contribution the firm has made to the Private Equity market by introducing new opportunities to it. Recent deals involving private equity include the growth capital fundraising of Foster + Partners backed by 3i plc, the sale of Aqualux Product Holdings, an exit for LDC and the MBO of Williams Medical Supplies, backed by ISIS Equity Partners.
