STRONG MERGERS ALLIANCE PERFORMANCE IN FIRST HALF OF 2006

2005 was a particularly good year for Mergers Alliance, with all of its members performing well, completing over 50 deals with a combined value of well over $2bn.

Having performed so well in 2005 it would be hard to replicate this strong performance in 2006, however, buoyed by an active market, increasing M&A activity across Europe and the growth of the network, Alliance Members have continued where they left off in 2005.
