Julien Laurent works as an energy transition and environment M&A advisor for Aurignac Finance since 2022. He particularly advises innovative companies in their funding from the lab to industrial deployment.
Over the previous 8 years, he was involved in the Energy and Natural Resources CIB advisory team of Natixis, ending as Industry Banker. With a special focus on cleantech companies, Julien Laurent has then been instrumental on several IPO transactions.
Prior to that, he has been sell-side equity analyst on oil & gas engineering companies for 10 years at Natixis Securities.
Julien is graduated from Montpellier Business School, with a MSc from IPF School (Energy Economics) and a MSc from ESCP Business School (Financial engineering). He also is a CIIA Charter Holder (French SFAF). He is fluent in English.
Julien is also an associate research fellow at IRIS thinktank (The French Institute for International and Strategic Affairs), specialised in Energy Market and strategies of players in the energy world.
