The disposed company is a bank agent network with 550 outlets across Poland processing bill payments and providing financial services for individual clients.
IPOPEMA advised DNB Bank Polska, a Polish bank from the DNB Bank ASA (Norway’s largest financial services group) on the disposal of Monetia Sp. z o.o. DNB Bank Polska planned the company sale under a strategic reorganization and refocussing towards large corporate clients.
IPOPEMA advised on the transaction as the sole financial adviser until its sign-off. After pre-screening of approximately 40 potential buyers, we approached a well-defined group of potential buyers and co-ordinated a competitive process to allow for sealing the deal in line with the Client’s expectations and under demanding regulatory framework set by the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF).
