JOMOS supports 3,500 maintenance contracts in the field of fire and smoke protection. It has a wide portfolio of clients in Zurich, Basel, etc.
Deal Summary
On October 2, VINCI Energies, a subsidiary of the VINCI Group, specializing in energy and information and communication technology (ICT), closed a deal to acquire 100% of the shares in JOMOS Group, one of Switzerland's leading fire protection suppliers. With a combined workforce of 170 people and total revenue of CHF 39 million in 2017, JOMOS Group has been active in this market for 23 years. It consists of JOMOS, a supplier of technical fire protection, and EuroSprinkler, a producer of sprinkler products.
JOMOS will be integrated into the Fire Protection Solutions Group, making it a wholly owned subsidiary of VINCI Energies. The main site in Balsthal will strengthen the presence of the Fire Protection Solutions Group in Switzerland.
According to Stefan Falk, General Manager of VINCI Energies Deutschland Schutzsysteme, "This acquisition allows us to expand the activities of the Fire Protection Solution Group in Switzerland and to strengthen the leading position of the Group on the market".
