BroadSpan Capital advised Unicuritiba and its shareholders in the sale of 100% of its shares to Ânima Holding S.A. (ANIM3) for BRL130.0 million.
In 2019, Unicuritiba expected to generate revenues of BRL78.7 million, with an adjusted EBITDA of BRL9.3 million.
Ânima is one of the largest private higher education organizations in the country, with over 115,000 students in 7 Brazilian states.
In February 2020, Unicuritiba’s shareholders completed the transaction involving the sale of 100% of their equity interest to Ânima Holding.
BroadSpan actively served Unicuritiba’s shareholders in this transaction in order to maximize its value and diminish its risks and guarantees.
