Career
Ajoy has advised companies in acquisition strategies for acquiring businesses in Germany , Eastern Europe and USA prior to joining Singhi. He has more than 20 years experience in Debt Restructuring and Strategy consulting, having advised mid sector corporates in debt syndication , managing growth and buy / sell decisions for companies. He has also advised Indian Banks in restructuring debt for client companies. Ajoy has been involved in successful closures of number of PE and M&A deals. Recent assignments he has handled include: acquiring a manufacturing business in Romania and taking operating responsibility for turning around the same; Advising Religare to acquire a leading portfolio management & broking company; and advising Tubinox for the sale of their seamless pipe and tube making unit in Romania to South Korean firm KE&P Co Ltd.
Some of the key relationships handled include the likes of State Bank of India , IDBI , ARCIL , ICICI , Viraj Group , Religare Enterprises , Ratnamani Metals , Prakash Steelage , Maharashtra Seamless , Jindal Group (JSPL), Datacomp Web Technologies , Mehta Equities , Pittie Group, Bank of Baroda among many others.

Ajoy joined Singhi Advisors about 2 years ago as Partner and with specific focus and building business in India Entry strategy for engineering and steel companies and M&A advisory for domestic companies.
He is the Ex- MD of Viraj Group (a billion dollar Indian Conglomerate) for Europe operations and a senior partner at Parekh Shah & Lodha.
