Since the beginning of 2014, Axel Deich has been an Associate Partner at Proventis Partners in the Munich office. His main focus is on M&A and corporate finance transactions in the automotive, aerospace, engineering and related industries. During his operational period, Axel Deich has overseen more than 20 large and medium transactions.
In addition to industrial contacts on executive level, Axel Deich has a profound network of contacts with European private equity and venture capital companies as well as with renowned family offices.
Axel Deich was a member of the Supervisory Board and advisory board of German, French and Russian companies. He was on the board of directors in various national and international industry associations.
Career
Prior to joining Proventis Partners, he was CEO of ATP, an international supplier to the aviation industry. For 6 years, Axel Deich was CEO of RUAG Space Switzerland. Prior to that, he worked for 8 years in various senior executive functions for Airbus Defense and Space.
After the university, Axel Deich worked 10 years for MTU Aero Engines in Munich in various management functions, most recently as the managing director of a subsidiary company.
Studied mechanical engineering with a focus on production technology and automation at the Ruhr-University Bochum. Business management studies with a focus on Finance and Controlling at RWTH Aachen University. Doctorate at the Laboratory for Machine Tools and Management (WZL) at RWTH Aachen University
