Mr. Christian Vandendriessche is a Managing Director of BroadSpan Capital. Mr. Vandendriessche has a long history of providing direct investment advisory services to family offices and entrepreneurs in the region.

Mr. Christian Vandendriessche is a member of Broadspan's management committee.

Career

Mr. Vandendriessche founded the Honduras Relief Fund, established to aid victims of Hurricane Mitch and served on the board of the Riecken Foundation, building and operating more than 60 community libraries in rural areas of Guatemala and Honduras. In addition, he was an adjunct professor of entrepreneurship and marketing at Lynn University’s College of Business and Management and serves as a member of the senior executive mentoring program at the Kellogg School of Management (Northwestern.) Mr. Vandendriessche holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Analysis from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He also completed the NIS program at Stanford University.

Background

Previously, Mr. Vandendriessche was a Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of Washington based Paperboy Ventures, a leading intellectual property merchant bank and a member of the firm’s investment committee. He has been a Senior Vice President at Lehman Brothers’ Capital Advisory Group focusing on private equity and early stage advisory, and President of international operations at TradeOut Inc., a trailblazing B2B online exchange for business surplus. Prior to that, he was Executive Director at Motorola Network Ventures where he pioneered wireless telecommunications in Latin America bridging the communications divide for millions of people in emerging markets, and later served as Senior Director in Motorola's mergers and acquisitions group. He has led or collaborated in over US$ 4 billion of transactions (M&A and financings) in a principal and advisory capacity in Latin America and the United States.
