He has more than 16 years of experience with M&A transactions and more than 25 years of experience with strategy reviews and strategy development. He managed and executed a large number of industrial mid cap M&A transactions with a focus in capital goods (mostly mechanical engineering) and surface technology, as well as in the packaging sector.

Dr. Studinka has International management and asdvisory experience in USA, Belgium and Germany and customer/client experience with Japan, South Korea and China as well as India, and South East Asia.

Career

Prior to Proventis Partners he led the M&A and Strategy department of Sulzer Ltd – a listed capital goods company – and as an industrial manager he was responsible for the business operations of Oerlikon Balzers Ltd – a leading surface technology company – in North and South Americas as well as Asia. Earlier, he led the two-stroke diesel engine business at New Sulzer Diesel, a business which was acquired by Wartsila Diesel.

As a management consultant at Arthur D. Little International, he acquired a wide professional horizon in Belgium, Germany and Switzerland as well as Scandinavia.

Graduated in Chemicals at ETH Zurich. Business administration ic. oec. of University of Zurich and Dr. oec. HSG of University of St. Gallen, with a focus on industrial processes.
