He has more than 20 years experience with M&A transactions and private equity deals. Jost managed, structured and completed over 50 domestic and international sell-, buy-side and growth capital transactions. International management, advisory and private equity experience in USA, Asia and Germany

Career

Prior to Proventis, he worked for three years in the private equity environment at HANNOVER Finanz-Gruppe, one of the leading mid-market private equity funds in Germany with focus on transactions in the business services and chemical industry. Furthermore, as the European Director at C. Melchers Consulting, he was also responsible for the areas of international mergers & acquisitions as well as strategic market entries.

On an operational level, Jost used to be managing director and board member of Salim Group, where he was responsible for the European expansion in the oleochemical and pharmaceutical industry. In the beginning of his professional career, he worked in leading positions at Ferrostaal AG in USA and Germany.

Jost graduated in Business Administration at HSBA in Hamburg and has a MBA from Thunderbird Amercian Graduate School of International Management, USA
