Roberto has more than 25 years experience in M&A, Private Equity, and Corporate Development, assisting entrepreneurs, corporates and international groups on extraordinary transactions. He covers various sectors, including branded consumer goods, retail, industrial and transportation.
Before joining Ethica Group in September 2021, from 2011 he has been in EY where he was the Partner leading the M&A and Capital Debt Advisory practice in Italy and also Development Officer for the MED region. From 2008 to 2011 he was Investment Director of DeA Capital leading the investment team. Previously, he spent 11 years at Lazard where he held many M&A, privatization and capital markets roles with growing levels of responsibility. Within this experience, he worked for 2 years at IRI S.p.A., in the team responsible for the State privatization processes. He started as auditor at Arthur Andersen & Co. and financial analyst at DGPA&Co. Roberto holds a degree in Business Administration at Università Bocconi and he is a certified auditor and chartered accountant.
