After a challenging 2020, 2021 saw record numbers across the global M&A market, which was replicated within our Partnership, with our members closing 118 deals, with a record transaction value of €10.3 bn. This represents a 5 times increase on the previous year
Looking ahead to 2022, the outlook is still extremely positive, with many of the key drivers which made 2021 so strong, still in place. Mergers Alliance members have a huge pipeline of joint mandates in place and with this in mind, we are expecting another record year for our Partnership, continuing to establish ourselves as the premier international middle market corporate finance Partnership.
