Aurignac France has assisted HPS International, a group specialized in complex industrial hydraulic cylinders and lifting accessories, in the acquisition of SAPEM, a specialist of lifting solutions for demanding markets.
HPS International has acquired SAPEM, a specialist of lifting solutions for the defence, aeronautics, and nuclear industries.
HPS International is an international group historically active in the design and manufacturing of hydraulic cylinders, generating 80% of its sales internationally. The group has recently acquired Codipro, a Luxembourg-based specialist in top-of-the-range articulated lifting rings. The acquisition of SAPEM will consolidate the position of the group in high-technicity lifting solutions.
Aurignac France has identified the opportunity for the acquirer and, thanks to its deep sector knowledge, was able to assist its clients in the assessment of the target and its critical position for its clients, which are large Corporates in defence and in nuclear energy sectors.
As part of the transaction, HPS Internationals’ management team and shareholders were also advised on all the aspects (DD coordination, valuation, negotiations, …) by Aurignac France Team, composed of Raphael Brenier and Clement Delahousse.
