Ethica Group, through its M&A Advisory team, supported the shareholders of Antonio Lupi Design S.p.A. (antoniolupi), a leading Tuscan company in bathroom furnishings and a symbol of design excellence, in its entry into Laufen Schweiz AG, a company of the Roca Group, a global leader in the design and production of bathroom solutions.
Founded in 1950 in Fucecchio (Florence) by Antonio Lupi, the company has successfully combined artisanal expertise with entrepreneurial vision, building a long-standing reputation for quality and reliability. Thanks to continuous growth, antoniolupi now boasts 100 employees and a turnover of €42 million in 2024.
The transaction will not involve structural changes: the organizational chart and operations of the Tuscan company will remain unchanged, ensuring continuity in management and vision—an aspect that Laufen values and intends to preserve. Joining the Roca Group marks the beginning of a new expansion phase for antoniolupi, aimed at increasing the brand’s presence both nationally and internationally, while maintaining the identity and tradition that have made it a benchmark in its sector.
Integration with Laufen, and the resulting entry into the Roca Group, will provide a significant boost, allowing the Tuscan company easier access to new markets, strengthening its commercial network, and increasing investment in research and development.
