Ethica Group, through its M&A Advisory team, supported the shareholders of Medexpert S.r.l., an Italian Medical InsurTech company specializing in medico-legal consulting for insurance companies handling injury claims, in its integration into MSA Mizar S.p.A., a leading European provider of outsourced insurance claims management services.
Dr. Giovanni Cannavò and Dr. Chiara Savarino, who have led the company since its founding, will continue to hold top executive roles, both serving on the Board of Directors as CEOs.
Medexpert, a Tuscan-based company with over 20 years of experience, boasts more than 30 active clients, manages approximately 60,000 assignments annually, and maintains a widespread presence across the territory, thanks to the valuable collaboration of 250 medico-legal professionals and over 100 clinical specialists. The company also holds two industrial patents: one for Electronic Expertise (2010) and a more recent one for the Digital Barème, which—leveraging advanced AI—aims to progressively innovate traditional medico-legal assessment models.
The company is a benchmark in its sector, further strengthened by its partnership with the Melchiorre Gioia Scientific Society, which, thanks to its specialized expertise in insurance-related forensic medicine, ensures continuous training for all Medexpert collaborators.
