Biotope is a leading biodiversity and environmental consultancy. The group assist development projects, from design to exploitation, applying consultation methods and resolving all regulatory obstacles related to environmental standards related to infrastructures and human activity.
Biotope operates in over 50 countries worldwide via its subsidiaries and antennas in France, Europe, Africa and Asia.
Biotope acquired a significant stake in the capital of companies BioConsult SH, a German ecological consulting firm, and of HiDef Aerial Surveying, a British environmental service provider dedicated to aerial imaging of marine and flying faune. The newly formed group registers combined revenues of €80m and over 800 employees. This acquisition creates the global leader in biodiversity and environmental engineering in the field of offshore wind power farms.
