Company Background

Grupo Boa Praça, headquartered in Vitória, in the state of Espírito Santo, Brazil, is composed of three business units:
(i) Boa Praça General Ship Supplier: national leader in ship supplies, including food, beverages, hygiene and cleaning materials, safety equipment, lubricants and deck equipment. It serves 25 Brazilian ports from 4 operational bases located in Rio de Janeiro, Macaé, Vitória and Recife, with a storage capacity of 11,500 m² and around 3,000 annual deliveries;
(ii) Boa Praça EPI: a unit specializing in the sale of safety equipment; and
(iii) Boalog: focused on the storage, handling and transportation of materials.

Deal Summary

BroadSpan Capital acted as exclusive financial advisor to Grupo Boa Praça's shareholders in the sale of 100% of its ship supply operations to Wrist Ship Supply.

BroadSpan played a pivotal role in the success of a complex and challenging process, initiated in December 2022. This process involved extensive negotiations and the carve-out of operations, culminating in the establishment of a company dedicated to ship supply activities.

This acquisition aligns with Wrist's strategy to extend its commercial and operational presence to a new continent, reinforcing the company’s commitment to the continuous expansion of its global maritime services and supply network.
