The main Italian specialization school in the IT field.
Founded in the 2000s by the Tittozzi family, Istituto Volta operates on a national scale with offices in Milan, Rome, Naples and Bari, and offers its students one-stop-shop solutions that include training & testing centers, and provision of certificates. Its 3 brands – Istituto Volta, Formamente and Pianeta Studio – are designed to meet the different needs of students. The ICT and Healthcare training offer, which accounts for 60% of revenues, the Institute has also managed to establish itself with technical specialization courses accredited by different Italian Regions.
Ethica Group assisted, with the M&A Advisory team, KYIP Capital, an independent growth buy-out fund focused on Italian SMEs with high growth potential, in completing the acquisition of the majority of Istituto Volta, the main Italian IT specialization school.
Volta represents the initial platform that KYIP intends to develop in the professional training industry; in fact it is an industry that is still extremely fragmented and with significant room for improvement. KYIP therefore foresees growth of the Volta platform both internally – also thanks to a significant strengthening of the educational offering – and externally, through acquisitions of complementary businesses also through agreements with trade associations and industrial districts.
