Building on its solid foundations and with the idea of developing new areas of expertise, Mergers Alliance is pleased to announce that Dr. Chris Carlisle and Adrian Huxley have joined the London office bringing complementary skills to the partnership.
Chris has a PhD in Chemistry from Cambridge and has focused on the Chemicals sector over a strong investment banking career with Deutsche Bank, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Nomura and Royal Bank of Canada. Prior to joining Opus, Chris spent a period in industry acting as Development Director for Wilmcote Holdings, a London listed acquisition vehicle focused on building a chemical platform via M&A. Chris will continue to focus on Chemicals at Opus, complementing our strengths in Industrials and Sustainability.
Adrian is a highly experienced investment banker with a career spanning over 30 years, principally at UBS and latterly with Canaccord and Peel Hunt. At UBS he worked in London, Paris and Frankfurt in M&A, Equity Capital Markets and Corporate Broking including running the London based UK Mid-market team. He has worked across a broad range of sectors advising boards on a wide variety of strategic (hostile and agreed), financing, regulatory and market matters. He has a BA in Classics & Modern Languages from Oxford and is a Chartered Accountant. Adrian deepens our existing franchise in UK public company transactions with a focus on senior, experienced, board-level advice.”
