Atal is a seasoned finance professional with over 30 years of experience in investment banking, corporate banking, financial institutions, credit rating, and fintech.

Atal has held senior leadership roles at DSP Merrill Lynch, Kotak Mahindra, Barclays, Citibank, RBS, CRISIL, and Jardine Fleming. He has extensive experience in capital markets, having successfully led multiple transactions in equity, debt, and hybrid issuances, syndicated loans, securitizations, REITs/InVITs, financial modeling, valuations, and M&A advisory. His diverse set of corporate and institutional clients across MNCs and the public and private sectors included Reliance, L&T, ICICI, SBI, Exim Bank, BHEL, ONGC, Nestlé, Carrier, and Sembcorp.

Atal’s fintech experience includes two years at LenDenClub, a peer-to-peer lending NBFC, where he led strategy, new initiatives, and D2C business. Prior to Singhi, he was Managing Director at Capwise Financial Services, a boutique investment bank, where he was the Managing Director of their debt advisory & structured finance businesses.

Atal holds a PG Diploma in Business Administration from IIM Calcutta and a BTech in Electronics Engineering from IIT BHU, where he was a Gold Medalist.
