Axel Deich has been an Associate Partner at Proventis Partners since the beginning of 2014. He specialises in M&A and corporate finance transactions in the automotive, aerospace & Defence and engineering industries.
As well as having industrial contacts at executive level, he has an extensive network of contacts with European private equity and venture capital companies, as well as renowned family offices.
He was a member of the supervisory and advisory boards of German and French companies. He has also served on the board of directors of various national and international industry associations.
Career
Prior to joining Proventis Partners, he was CEO of ATP, an international supplier to the aviation industry. For 6 years, Axel Deich was CEO of RUAG Space Switzerland. Prior to that, he worked for 8 years in various senior executive functions for Airbus Defense and Space.
After the university, Axel Deich worked 10 years for MTU Aero Engines in Munich in various management functions, most recently as the managing director of a subsidiary company.
Studied mechanical engineering with a focus on production technology and automation at the Ruhr-University Bochum. Business management studies with a focus on Finance and Controlling at RWTH Aachen University. Doctorate at the Laboratory for Machine Tools and Management (WZL) at RWTH Aachen University
