Richard is an experienced M&A adviser with a track record of advising owner-managers and private equity investors on complex and high-profile transactions. He brings sector expertise across technology, healthcare and business services, alongside experience working with high-growth businesses.
At Evolve, Richard leads the firm’s growth across the East Midlands, while also supporting the wider team on sell-side and buy-side transactions.
Career
Richard joined Evolve Corporate Finance as a Partner following almost 12 years at Clearwater, where he advised on a broad range of transactions from £5m fundraise to £140m trade exits across the UK and internationally. During his time there, he worked with owner-managed businesses, institutional investors and corporates.
Earlier in his career, Richard trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with BDO before moving into corporate finance. In 2018, he was awarded Young Dealmaker of the Year at the East Midlands Dealmakers Awards.
