Singhi Advisors, Mergers Alliance Partner in India, announces the appointments of Jyotirmoy Bose and Anand Kumar as Partners to lead their Delhi/North India office and Karthik Menon as Partner to lead their new Singapore office.
The new branch office in Singapore will enable Mergers Alliance to increase its global operational presence and leverage opportunities in South East Asia markets and emerging business verticals.
The new appointees bring on board over two decades of cross-industry experience and leadership skills spanning domains like organisation restructuring, business strategy, project finance and capital advisory.
Karthik Menon: In a career spanning 23 years, Karthik Menon, a management professional and turnaround specialist has worked extensively in roles spanning business strategy and market development with a focus on corporate finance. His experience and expertise expand to different sectors covering petrochemicals, fertilizers, supply chain, logistics and technology. With a cross-functional work experience, he has been instrumental in turning around multiple businesses while raising over USD 300 million in equity and over USD 1 billion in project and structured debt. Based out of Singapore for more than a decade, Karthik has insightful knowledge about the Asia-Pacific and MENA markets.
KaJyotirmoy Bose In over 30 years of industry experience cutting across geographies and sectors, Jyotirmoy, an alumni of IIT (Delhi) & IIM (Kolkata) having worked with Anderson, ANZ Grindlays, Times group etc and has specialised in offering solution-oriented approaches for organisations to attain process and program sustainability. He has also helped earlystage to mid-sized local companies to transition into rapid growth organizations by building scale and sustaining profitability. He has also led key large-scale restructuring and transformation of mega projects over the last ten years. Jyotirmoy is a visiting faculty at IIM Kozhikode and SP Jain Institute of Management & Research (Top MBA collages in India) in the areas of Organisation Design & Restructuring, Organisation Capacity Development, Leading & Managing Change and Family-Managed Business.
Anand Kumar: In over 16 years of professional experience with PWC, Deloitte, HCL etc, Anand Kumar, a management graduate has an enviable track record as a finance professional in the M&A, project finance and capital advisory space. He has worked on several M&A pitches for a diverse portfolio of clients across various sectors ranging from automobiles, energy & resources, core infrastructure including roads, port & aviation and IT/ITES. Anand’s previous stints includes key advisory engagements with a clientele spread across Asia, the Middle East and Europe. A regular speaker at various industry forums including the Global RE-Investment Summit in India, he has presented papers at various industry discourses across the AMEA geography.
