R R Kabel, INR 9,700 Cr revenue co , is among India’s largest wires & cables player and leading exporters. With a strong brand, extensive distribution network and presence across residential, commercial, industrial and infrastructure applications, R R Kabel has built a significant position across the Indian electrical products landscape.
Usha Martin Limited, with a market cap of ~INR 16,000 Crs and FY26 revenue of ~INR 3,700 Cr, is a highly profitable, leading global player in specialized wire ropes and related engineering products. Its OFC business brings established capabilities in Optical Fiber Cables, Jelly Filled Telecom Cables and FRP Rods, supported by a well established manufacturing set up at Silvassa with ~84,000 km per annum of OFC capacity.
For R R Kabel, the acquisition provides an immediate platform to enter the high-growth optical connectivity segment on tailwind growth in 5G, fibreisation, broadband and data infrastructure .
