EFIC Partners acted as co-advisors of Andino Investment Holding S.A.A. (AIH) on the sale of 100% of its shares in Cosmos Agencia Marítima S.A.C. to DP World Peru S.R.L. for US$315.7 MM. AIH is a Peruvian holding focused on international trade that has three main lines of operations: port and airport infrastructure, maritime services and logistic services.

Dubai Ports World (DP World) is a leading enabler of global trade and an integral part of the supply chain. It operates multiple businesses – from marine and inland terminals, maritime services, logistics and ancillary services to technology-driven trade solutions.

The assets to be acquired represent a multi asset platform of maritime, logistic and port companies. In addition to Cosmos, the transaction includes 100% of its subsidiaries Neptunia S.A. and Triton Transport S.A., and 50% of Terminales Portuarios Euroandinos Paita S.A., the second largest port in Peru measured by container traffic.

This acquisition represents an extension of the footprint of DP World in Latin America that will allow them to offer improved logistic solutions to customers and more container capacity. With this transaction, DP World will increase its portfolio in up to 6 operating terminals across Latin America.
