Hunziker + Co AG in Dietikon, Switzerland, is one of the leading international innovation driv-ers in the areas of functional confectionery products such as nutritional supplements and medical nutraceuticals. As one of the largest functional sweet manufacturers in Switzerland, the fami-ly business has been producing tasty experiences for over 90 years. The company has been successfully managed by the owner family up to the third generation and today employs around 160 people, with an export share of over 50%.
F. Hunziker + Co AG, a Swiss family business run by the third generation, has been sold to Amapharm GmbH as part of a succession plan. Amapharm GmbH knows F. Hunziker + Co AG from its many years of co-operation and will work together with the management of F. Hunziker + Co AG to ensure a smooth integration into the Amapharm GmbH Group.
In recent years, F. Hunziker + Co AG has developed from a traditional supplier of sweets for the largest Swiss retailers into a specialized global supplier of functional confectionery products such as nutritional supplements and medical nutraceuticals. Due to the increasing demand for nutri-tional supplements and health-promoting products, Amapharm GmbH has decided to take over the long-standing strategic partner as of January 2024.
