Consistent with its combined organic and inorganic growth approach, the company has selected Maite.ai as a strategic target, given its strong market positioning, proprietary AI capabilities, robust legal database, institutional client base and experienced management team.

Founded in 2023, Maite-ai has rapidly become the leading legal AI platform in Spain. The company provides an AI legal co-pilot embedded in lawyers’ daily workflows, supporting research, drafting and contract analysis. It serves leading law firms, consulting firms, corporate legal departments and public entities, and has demonstrated strong recurring revenue growth and rapid enterprise adoption.

The transaction positions Doctrine as a pan-European legal AI platform with operations in France, Spain, Germany, Italy and Luxembourg.
