Ethica Group M&A Advisory team assisted, Italian leader in the supply of solutions dedicated to process cooling, air conditioning and compressed air and gas treatment, already part of the Chequers Capital portfolio since 2020, in the sale of a majority stake to Trane Technologies, a European player specialized in the design, production, sale and assistance of innovative products and services for climate control for heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), refrigeration for transport and customized refrigeration solutions.
Founded in 1982 and based in Padua, MTA today manages two production plants. In 2022, MTA recorded sales of over €100 million, of which 87% were exports.
