Ethica Group M&A advisory team supports KYIP Capital in the acquisition of a majority stake of Istituto Volta, the main Italian specialization school in the IT field.

Volta represents the initial platform that KYIP intends to develop in the extremly fragmented professional training industry with significant room for improvement. KYIP therefore foresees growth of the Volta platform both organic – significant strengthening of the educational offering – and inorganic through acquisitions of complementary businesses and different agreements with trade associations and industrial districts.

Founded in the 2000s by the Tittozzi family, Istituto Volta operates on a national scale with offices in Milan, Rome, Naples and Bari, and offers students one-stop-shop solutions that include training & testing centers, certificates and corporate corporate through its 3 brands – Istituto Volta, Formamente Pianeta Studio – designed to meet the different students’ needs.

Volta, which today has a turnover of around €15 million, recorded a growth rate of 33% in the period ’20-’22, satisfying growing demand from students and workers. Over time, the Institute has also been recognized as a training body authorized by the most relevant global entities, thus being able to provide official training for the main certifications required by companies around the world in the Information Technology sector.
