Star Energy Group is the largest geothermal power plant operator in Indonesia and ranks among the largest in the region. The company has commercially started its first operating unit in 2000 following by the second unit in 2009. In early 2017, the company has acquired two geothermal power plants in Indonesia thus the group currently has total installed capacity of 875 MW.
