Origin Seal Group has acquired DISS-JAWA, a specialist in industrial sealing solutions with operations in Antwerp, Belgium, and Duisburg, Germany.
The transaction marks the fourth add-on acquisition completed since Abenex became a shareholder in September 2022.
The acquisition strengthens Origin Seal Group’s technological capabilities, extending its offering across the full spectrum of industrial sealing solutions, from flat gaskets to advanced metallic sealing technologies. DISS-JAWA has built a strong reputation serving the chemicals industry, with deep expertise in both maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) and project-based activities. Its recognized know-how in metallic sealing further enhances the Group’s product portfolio and technical capabilities.
The transaction also represents a significant milestone in Origin Seal Group’s buy-and-build strategy, establishing the Group’s first presence in Germany while reinforcing its footprint in Belgium. With operations in Antwerp—Europe’s largest chemical cluster—and the Ruhr region, Germany’s leading industrial heartland, the Group is now even closer to many of its key customers. The existing management teams will remain in place to ensure business continuity and support the integration into Origin Seal Group.
Following the acquisitions of Interseal in 2023 (France), Atlantic Joint in 2024 (France), and Polson-MBC Group earlier in 2026 (the Netherlands), this latest transaction demonstrates the continued execution of Origin Seal Group’s M&A strategy and its ambition to become a leading European provider of industrial sealing solutions.
