BroadSpan Advises Grupo BoaPraça on Sale of Ship Supply Operations to Wrist Ship Supply

Boa Praça General Ship Supplier, a business unit of Grupo Boa Praça, headquartered in Vitória, State of Espírito Santo, Brazil, is a national leader in ship supplies, including food, beverages, hygiene and cleaning materials, safety equipment, lubricants, and deck equipment.

The company serves 25 Brazilian ports from four operational bases located in Rio de Janeiro, Macaé, Vitória, and Recife, with 11,500 m² of storage capacity and approximately 3,000 annual deliveries.

Wrist Ship Supply, based in Aalborg, Denmark, is the global leader in maritime provisions and supplies for vessels and offshore platforms, with pproximately 12% market share. The company operates in over 30 global locations, including major maritime hubs, and has more than 1,800 employees. Additionally, it leads the digitalization of the maritime supply industry with the launch of Source2Sea, a digital marketplace offering online sourcing and logistics, 24/7 data transparency, process automation, and convenience for customers.

This acquisition aligns with Wrist’s strategy to extend its commercial and operational presence to a new continent, reinforcing the company’s commitment to the continuous expansion of its global maritime services and supply network.
