Singhi Advisors advises Warburg Pincus LLC Pincus-backed Acclime Group, a US$1bn Asia-focused corporate services platform, on its strategic expansion into India through the acquisition of BMC SAAS.
The acquisitions, completed through Business Transfer Agreements (BTAs), give Acclime 100% ownership of the acquired businesses.
The acquisitions significantly strengthen Acclime’s capabilities in India and establish a dedicated Finance & Accounting Outsourcing (FAO) service line within Acclime India, supporting clients across the United Kingdom, the United States and Australia. The experienced professionals from the acquired businesses will continue to serve clients as part of one unified firm, ensuring continuity while expanding the breadth of services available to clients.
The transaction also significantly expands Acclime’s presence in India, adding more than 200 professionals and extending its office footprint beyond Gurugram to Delhi, Noida, Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Jaipur and Bengaluru. With a presence across eight cities, Acclime is now positioned across India’s principal commercial centres.
Each of the acquired businesses brings complementary strengths to the combined platform. BMC SAAS adds established finance and accounting outsourcing capabilities, with experience serving clients and accounting firms internationally. VSPV & Co. and NDCo contribute decades of expertise in accounting, tax and advisory services, supporting Indian and international clients, including multinational corporations and the Indian operations of foreign companies.
Together, the businesses create a stronger and more comprehensive platform in India, combining established local expertise with Acclime’s international reach and providing clients with expanded finance, accounting, tax and advisory capabilities.
