Ethica Group, through its M&A Advisory and Business Development team, advised Platform6, an international collective of creative agencies focused on delivering high-profile experiences and events for the fashion, luxury and lifestyle sectors, on its acquisition of Without Production, a Milan-based company specializing in the creative design, production and staging of runway shows and exclusive events for leading international fashion houses.
Platform6, a group backed by SLAM (“Sport, Luxury, Art and Music”), one of several sector-focused investment strategies launched by French private equity firm Trail, aims to build a leading group of creative companies, each a leader in its respective segment. The group seeks to combine complementary know-how and expertise while preserving the unique characteristics and distinctive identities that have driven each company’s market success.
Founded in 1999 by Gabriella Mazzei, Without Production has established itself as one of Italy’s leading players in the fashion show sector, distinguished by its ability to combine creative direction with production excellence. Over the years, the company has built long-standing relationships with some of the most prominent luxury fashion houses, organizing runway shows and events for clients including Ferrari, Prada, Gucci, Ferragamo and Louis Vuitton, both in Italy and internationally.
The transaction marks another step in Platform6’s growth strategy, expanding the group’s offering in the fashion week and runway show segment. Founded with the aim of bringing together highly specialized and complementary creative leaders, Platform6 already includes the agencies Marcadé and Superbien, with an international presence spanning Paris, New York, Shanghai, Dubai, Munich and, now, Milan. As part of the transaction, Gabriella Mazzei will reinvest in the venture, becoming a shareholder in Platform6.
