OXEYE-MONTHIS advised Bracamonte on the sale of Bobeldijk Food Group to Schouten Europe

Dutch meat alternatives company Schouten Europe has acquired fellow plant-based manufacturer Bobeldijk Food Group – a leading producer of plant-based products for the retail and food service markets, expanding its production capabilities and reinforcing its position in Europe’s fast-growing alternative protein market.

Headquartered in Giessen, the Netherlands, Schouten Europe has been operating in the plant-based sector since 1990 and is recognised as one of the pioneers of the meat alternatives industry.

The deal unites two well-established Dutch businesses with extensive expertise in private-label plant-based products. It is expected to substantially boost Schouten Europe’s manufacturing capacity while supporting its long-term growth strategy.

This strategic divestment enables Bracamonte to fully focus and further invest in its other core growth pillars within the food sector.
