NORGESTION (Spain) advised Lacor Ibili, household and kitchenware manufacturer, on the acquisition of Jay – Industrial Cubertera de Galicia.

Lacor-Ibili Group acquires Spain’s leading producer of stainless steel and silver cutlery. The synergies in the activities of both companies will allow the Group to reach a turnover of 100 million in the coming years, with a joint workforce of 200 employees.

Lacor-Ibili Group and JAY Industrial Cubertera de Galicia, both family-owned companies with extensive experience in their sector, are joining forces to consolidate themselves as one of the main leaders in the kitchenware and hospitality sector. With this agreement, the Lacor-Ibili Group significantly increases its product offering and JAY Industrial Cubertera de Galicia consolidates its leadership in the market by continuing with the activity driven by the founding family.

The facilities of JAY Industrial Cubertera de Galicia will continue to operate at full capacity and will represent an increase in the manufacturing facilities for the Lacor-Ibili Group of 10,000 m2.
