Through this transaction, TeamSystems, business management digital solutions provider, consolidates its offer in the ERP software solutions for SME’s market in Spain, where it already has a presence thanks to the acquisitions of Software Del Sol, Billin, Acumbamail, Aplifisa and Asesor Excelente.

Distrito K is a leading company in the development of ERP software for SMEs, expecting to reach a turnover of 8.5 million euros this year, which represents an increase of 100% in the period 2020-2024. Founded in La Coruña in 1997, the company has almost 30 years of experience in the sector and provides services to 6,000 small and medium-sized companies that trust its business management software. Distrito K has internally developed a broad portfolio of innovative solutions, allowing to offer solutions to most sectors and activities in the Spanish market. The company has designed a powerful ERP system that allows a high degree of customization, thanks to an advanced integrated programming language, compatible with mobile devices and e-commerce.

TeamSystem is an Italian technology company that develops digital solutions for the business management of companies and professionals. The group supports its clients in the digital transformation of the entire supply chain through a series of innovative technologies – also based on AI – for management processes, e-commerce and marketing automation, and is active in the fintech sector. TeamSystem, which operates in Italy and abroad, closed 2023 with a turnover of €851 million, an increase of 22% compared to the previous year, and has more than 4,800 employees serving around 2 million customers operating on its digital and cloud platforms.

“We are excited to have concluded this important deal, as it will allow us to make a qualitative leap in terms of size in the Spanish market, in a key segment such as ERP, which has exceeded 10 billion euros in Europe and is expected to grow to 14 billion by 2027,” says Federico Leproux, CEO of TeamSystem. “This acquisition is, in fact, a fundamental piece within our broader strategy of international projection, which has led us to invest significantly in the Spanish market with 6 acquisitions and then in the Turkish market, aiming to positioning ourselves as one of the main players supporting the digital transition of SMEs and professionals in southern Europe.”

Begoña Portela and Marcelo Costa, founders of Distrito K, add: «Joining a leading group in the sector such as TeamSystem will allow Distrito K to continue growing as part of a modern business structure, which will improve the quality of our products by incorporating its knowledge in artificial intelligence, adapting it to the business reality, cloud technology, digital marketing or the electronic invoicing process».
