Company Background
GeoLith is a cleantech company specialised in direct lithium extraction. Its DLE technology (LiCapt) allows to retain lithium from underground sources such as geothermal wells, oil and gas wells or salars.
GeoLith is a FrenchTech 2030 Laureate, working to match increasing demand for sustainable lithium from non-mining sources, for the production of batteries for electric mobility and power storage/balancing.
Deal Summary
GeoLith raised equity for its A-series round from a pool of investors led by Kuenheim Familiaris. The funding will finance the first tranche of hardware and R&D investments needed to industrialise the production of LiCapt filters at large scale.

Aurignac assisted the management of GeoLith to structure the funding round and organise the discussions with VC investors on a nascent market characterised by a strong growth potential and a number of alternative DLE technologies.
